WBW #47: miss ‘T’ has an S!
Give me a S! Give me a T! Since I didn’t have the money for expensive bottles of Champagne, I looked in my own cellar for a bottle of wine with a S, and a T! I tasted the Mademoiselle de T, it’s the second wine of the Château de Tracy, near the bank of the Loire, in France. It’s made of Sauvignon Blanc-grapes – hey, there’s my S! I bought this wine two years ago, when my lady and I did a tour of the valley of the Loire. We visited every castle you could see and bought every wine they make there
almost. This lovely miss T has nice scents of grapefruit, lemon and strong minerality. I also taste hints of peach and passion fruit. The refreshing acidity of wine is just wonderful – after your first glass, you’re surely want a second! The lemony sours linger on and on and on… a very lovely wine! We bought it for only 10 euros a bottle (15$) at the Chateau. I think all roads to southern France will lead us via Tracy this year…

I LOVE Sauvignon Blanc! Thanks for this review – I now have another one to look for!
