“Some lucky employees of ATO Records had the opportunity to listen to some tracks on the new album on Wednesday. In a blog post on the official ATO records website, the employee described the music as a mix between 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets and Matthews’ solo effort Some Devil.”

2 juni verschijnt het nieuwe album van de Dave Matthews Band. In februari al slaagden een 15-tal fans erin zich te laten uitnodigen in de studio waar ze wat van het nieuwe materiaal te horen kregen. Volgens een medewerker van de platenmaatschappij zou Big Whiskey ergens tussen Before These Crowded Streets – IMHO hun beste album – en Daves solo album Some Devil (remember de eindtune van de film 21 grams?) liggen.
